Rob Lawton served for over 10 years as the Assistant Varsity Coach of Paul VI High School where he helped to revive a basketball program to state playoff contention.  During his tenure, the program won four Olympic Conference National Division Championship Titles (2006-07; 2007-08; 2010-11; 2011-2012).  He’s produced over 30 NCAA collegiate basketball players who have completed at the Division 1 and 2 level; some of whom are playing overseas.  In addition, he’s conducted basketball skills camps throughout the area, as well as, coached several AAU teams where he also produced scholarship athletes.

As an athlete, Rob was a standout basketball player  (Class of 83’) at the Basketball powerhouse, Roman Catholic H.S. in Philadelphia, PA, where he received All-City, All Catholic and In April of 2015, he was inducted into Roman’s Sports Hall of Fame where he was recognized for leading the 1982-1983 team to a Catholic League Championship.  He was recruited to play at Millersville University in Millersville PA, where he scored over 1000 points and was an All Conference Player and All America Honorable Mention.
