Rich Marcucci began organizing basketball programs 31 years ago - while attending Villanova University - with the founding of South Jersey All Star Basketball Camps (SJASBC) in Williamstown, New Jersey. In 1990 SJASBC became the extremely popular Atlantic Cape Camps which included not only local day-camp programs, but skills development and college exposure programs that attracted students from throughout the U.S. and around the globe. Within just a few years, ACC was conducting clinics and tournaments in such international hotspots as Los Angeles, California, London, England; Paris, France; Reykjavik, Iceland; Changsha, China: Maui, Hawaii; and Brussels', Belgium. In 2006 Marcucci established with a group of partners a full-time training academy, Apex Academies, in which students were able to train daily while completing their high school academic requirements. Alumni of Marcucci’s programs include such NBA All-Stars as: Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Lamar Odom, Kevin Durant and the Morris Twins and many others. Rich has worked as a consultant with schools interested in starting training programs, he been a part of the planning of these programs throughout the country. Rich will now severe as a director at Olympus Sports, his daily role will be to develop and oversee the programming in our company.
